Thanks Ginny! It’s definitely been a labor of love. Next time you’re in Santa Fe be sure and come see it in person. Bring your friends! We want to show it off. AND I spent the morning with Anna doing more trim work on the outside. Look at THIS!

Nice:)  It makes it very clear to see them side by side…do you send them off to the webmaster to have the content arranged…yes you must!

Yes, I like them side by side–Adam’s doing. I upload the photos to wordpress, sometimes giving Adam #’s, sometimes arranging them where I’d like them to be in the text. We work together on it very well and I always like his sensibilities. I’ve just asked him a HUGE favor! Anna and I just finished doing some new exterior trim so the 5 exterior “After” shots look very different now. I’m hoping Adam will replace those from today’s post with the new pics–fingers crossed 🙂

Thanks Margaret! Yes, seeing the side by side images has helped us understand the difference we have made. Lots of fun memories for looking back, as you say.

Yes, I think the side-by-side photos show the change much better–even to us! That was Adam’s doing. THANK YOU, ADAM! And thank you, Cindy, for all the support you offered throughout the project. We’re really happy with it! Fun to look back already.

We actually BOUGHT that chair! Those are the “after” photos. This post is quite old now. Take a look at today’s post for more up-to-date photos of the gallery’s exterior.

It is a fine chair. My back feels good just to see it.

About Me

About High Road Artist IMG 9461 150x150I am Jeane George Weigel, a working artist living in the mountains of northern New Mexico, and I do not think you and I are so different.

Every single one of us longs to know what we ache for, to “follow our bliss” as Joseph Campbell famously put it. You may find yours as an artist, a writer, or a teacher. But I am convinced we all yearn to live what is in our hearts. Some of us spend a lifetime discovering what that is. Some never find it.

This blog is about a journey of self-discovery, yours and mine. I write about the experience of living an artist’s life and share musings and photos as this living experiment unfolds. It is my hope you’ll join in the conversation by writing to me about your lives and I dearly hope something, here, will inspire you.
