Happily for all of us, having suffered something of an emotional set-back with the new gallery space, we woke the next day with energy and vision for the task ahead: creating a beautiful gallery in this great old adobe home.
So Anna and I took off for Espanola where we bought all the paint we needed. Our friend, Craig Scogin, (see previous posts Not Really New… Not Really Mexico, Craig Scogin on Why Art Is Important and Craig Scogin on What Is Art?) who sits the gallery for us on Saturdays and Sundays and also shows his photography and photo books in the gallery, joined us to help paint (THANK YOU CRAIG!).
I think you probably all have had the experience of a little bit of paint, and quite a bit of work, going a long way toward making everything right again… well, I’m happy to say, everything is, indeed, right again.
Love to you all,
