Our decision to take down the false ceilings to expose the vigas not only required the plastering you’ve seen in previous photos, it also meant the lighting had to be pulled down and then reinstalled as gallery lighting. Truth be told, we probably would have needed to rework the lighting anyway. Paintings, especially Anna’s that are layered oils on linen, the old Renaissance method, need a ton of light. I’m so grateful Bill Loyd knows how to do absolutely everything and that he’s a part of our gallery. Not only do we get to hang his gorgeous bells inside and out, not only do we get to enjoy their beautiful sounds every day, we also benefit from his diverse knowledge. There’s simply no way Anna and I could take this kind of project on without Bill’s expertise and his willingness to do whatever it takes. He’s a blessing every single day. THANK YOU BILL!
Love to you all,
