I know that in much of the country you’ve had more snow this winter than you can bear. But here in New Mexico we’ve been starved for it. We need snow each winter like a flower needs the sun and, finally, we’ve been getting it.
Then it comes so clear to me: life is not what we leave behind. That’s history. Life is the living of it, in these moments when our hearts are beating in our chests, when our eyes gaze across the great beauties…
Of course Anna and I couldn’t visit Canyon Road without stepping into some of the galleries.
Anna and I headed to Santa Fe to celebrate her birthday. We couldn’t think of a better place to do it than to have lunch at El Farol.
Canyon Road in Santa Fe is, arguably, one of the most famous “art streets” in America, if not the world. Long ago it was, literally, just a narrow dirt road leading up to the canyon.
