I was rather stunned when I actually sat down to make a grocery list for this easy green chili stew recipe sent in by Maggie Towne. It was missing some measurements and I hadn’t even noticed that! Earth-Shattering Garlic Pasta Recipe
Actually, the most earth-shattering thing about this pasta is that I MADE IT JUST FOR MYSELF OUT OF INGREDIENTS I HAD ON HAND. Some of you may not know what a huge deal that is, if you’ve only recently started reading the blog. The fact is, my kitchen and I have not been all that familiar or all that friendly in many, many years.
Flight of the Wild Turkey in Truchas, NM
There is a flock of wild turkeys that live out behind my house – about ten to fifteen birds I would say. I don’t know how many of you have ever experienced wild turkeys before but they are VERY big, heavy, lumbering birds. I particularly love the huge footprints they leave behind in the snow or mud – as big as my hands, I swear.
