Sunrises Over the Truchas Peaks, Part 1
Truchas Peaks, actually a series of three peaks to comprise what most of us think of as one mountain, stands 13,024 feet at its highest point, making it the second highest peak in New Mexico. I recommend it to you all.
William deBuys Comes to the Truchas, NM Library
William deBuys came to the Truchas Library recently to read for us from two of his books. In fact deBuys lived in Truchas back in the early 70s and recalled tutoring local children in the very building that is now the library. Back then it was the school. Several old-timers greeted him and he remembered them by name. Very impressive.
