I have published other’s photos on the blog, but these are my personal favorites, shot by me, and my reasons why. Each one of these captured a particular moment in time—a bit of magic I couldn’t have planned for—the proverbial “being in the right place at the right time.”

We received a new work bench from Alvaro Cardona-Hine. It’s all spattered with paint and infused with Alvaro’s energy. The gallery is coming alive with artistic spirit. What could possibly be better than that?

How to Open an Art Gallery
Starting a gallery up here on the High Road to Taos is a bit different than what most of you would face in other areas. For one thing the High Road is famous to art tourists, so a certain amount of high caliber traffic is built in. Lucky us.
How Many Artists Does it Take…
How many artists does it take to get a big old couch into an ancient adobe studio? Anna and I found this great old couch at Pieces in Taos (a fabulous thrift store) last month and put it on layaway. We were SO EXCITED to move it into the studio that’s attached to our gallery.
