I am so grateful to be an artist because ever since I started painting again, I see everything more clearly; I experience life more deeply.

I remember whole years during my corporate life when I arrive and leave work in the dark. I love being an artist because I control my own schedule.

I wake most mornings without an alarm, with the sun, or later if my body needs something extra. I love being an artist because I can wake up when I want.

There is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to move into a wonderful place here in Truchas, New Mexico.

It is stunning to me how quickly time flies by, but here we are at our 300th post on the High Road Artist Blog. I can’t help but be sentimental about it.
