Dragonfly is the essence of the winds of change, the messages of wisdom and enlightenment, and the communications from the elemental world.

I met a new friend when I was taking the wild and raw food workshop at my friend Julie’s house.

I wanted to go into the canyon to collect more photos from which to paint. I’m working on my Canyon Series and my vision is changing as I paint it. The photos I’d shot earlier no longer speak to my shifted vision.

I am forgoing our usual Wisdom Wednesday post to celebrate a rather large anniversary: High Road Artist’s 500th post. Wow! I have to say, that pretty much takes my breath away.

After quick introductions she asked everybody to step into my kitchen. She opened the door to my refrigerator (clearly knowing in advance what she’d find there) and made a lesson out of its contents. It was pretty empty.
