This statement is often attributed to Nelson Mandela, which I’ve always thought was pretty funny because I just could never picture him using the word “fabulous”. But it is a truly wonderful quote by Marianne Williamson and I CAN see her using it:
Our deepest fear
Is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are
Powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be
Brilliant, gorgeous, talented
And fabulous?”
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened
About shrinking
So that other people
Won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God
That is within us.
It’s not just in some of us;
It’s in everyone, and as we
Let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give
Other people
Permission to do the same.
As we are liberated
From our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

Beautiful reminder:) Thank you.
These two speak to me today also…
“See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence.
We need silence to be able to touch souls.” Mother Teresa
“That which is false troubles the heart, but truth brings joyous tranquility” Rumi
Love and hugs to you – stay cozy…it is snowing here a tiny bit today…but not for long since the temp will hit 40 today:)

I love the Mother Teresa quote particularly. I am constantly practicing silence but rarely succeeding. There are moments and I’m grateful for those. And aren’t we, those of us on this path, always seeking our truth? A shifting and beautiful pursuit.
Love and hugs back to you. It’s snowing here, too, but I have quite a fire blazing in the wood heater. We’ll see what’s on the ground in the morning. I’m hoping for just a dusting but I’ll love whatever it is.
