Finnie in the Pink

In spite of starting this round of rather scarey treatments (see previous post Rescue Dog, Finn, Needs Rescuing Again), Finnie is doing fine. I wanted to reassure you all that he’s actually handling it amazingly well so far. He doesn’t seem to be feeling any ill effects which is just such good news.

And, of course, he’s getting the best of care. Here’s his brother, Raven, having a look…

… very tenderly…

… checking him out.

Finding him in tip top shape he gives him kisses…

… and a goodbye hug.

Then I tuck him in for the night in a warm bankie fresh from the drier. Finnie’s thinking, “If this is what it means to be sick, I want more!”

Love to you all,

Jeane

What a sweet kitty, loving her sick brother. Has Finn been on the meds for 4 days? I thought I remembered the vet saying that would be a tough time. Am not sure of the actual timeline here. Whatever, I am cheering for the home team!

Thanks Joy. You’re always there for us. Tomorrow, Sunday, will be 4 days. It may not be a problem for him. He’s doing extremely well with the meds so far.

He’s an amazing trooper. Strong of heart, mind AND body! Not to mention spirit. This guy has it all going for him 🙂

About Me

About High Road Artist IMG 9461 150x150I am Jeane George Weigel, a working artist living in the mountains of northern New Mexico, and I do not think you and I are so different.

Every single one of us longs to know what we ache for, to “follow our bliss” as Joseph Campbell famously put it. You may find yours as an artist, a writer, or a teacher. But I am convinced we all yearn to live what is in our hearts. Some of us spend a lifetime discovering what that is. Some never find it.

This blog is about a journey of self-discovery, yours and mine. I write about the experience of living an artist’s life and share musings and photos as this living experiment unfolds. It is my hope you’ll join in the conversation by writing to me about your lives and I dearly hope something, here, will inspire you.
