Kim’s wonderful country loaf (see previous post Adventures in the Art of Bread Making)…
… still warm from Bill and Margaret’s wood cook stove (see previous post Change, Lovely Change)…
… eaten with thick slabs of butter, birds feeding on freshly sewn seeds just outside the window…
… a gift of bread to take home with me…
… to have as toast this morning…
… while reading a good book…
… hmmm, just one more slice…
… and the world is right…
… as I am left to read…
… in the warm morning sun for as long as I like.
Love to you all,
Jeane

A very nice piece, both the writing and the bread.

The way you describe your breakfasts makes me feel hungry 🙂 – hungry not only for food, but I start yearning for a slow and alive morning with warm bread and coffee. A gift of bread and freedom to read make it feel that the world is right and so does your sharing about it!

As always, Laura, you have a wonderful way of dipping below the surface–that this little post made you, “… hungry not only for food…” says volumes about you and your sensitivity. I love that you, seemingly intuitively, got everything I was meaning to communicate. Thank you for your openness to my words and energy.

Thanks for your kind words, Jeane. I love your words and their meaning. You do a wonderful job of conveying serenity. I just let myself tune in and listen to your peace and feel it filling me.

What a lovely thing to do with my words Laura. Thank you and thank you, too, for letting me know.
