Have any of you ever seen the kind of snow that I call Fairy Dust? It’s like ultra fine glitter falling from the sky and catching the light just so. Or sugar falling all around picking up the light. It’s like, well, fairy dust. That’s my very best description. I think all of you can imagine that. Anyway, that’s what it was doing yesterday morning and there weren’t even many clouds in the sky. I’ve never been able to capture it with my camera as it’s been coming down (maybe, like fairies, it’s not meant to be captured), but yesterday I caught a sense of the magic in the air, I think. And, of course, I wanted to share it with you.
And then the storm clouds started to gather…
… promising the storm that passed us by.
But they keep saying “the big one” is on its way and this is what Kelee has to say about that:
Love to you all,
Jeane

I know exactly what you’re talking about! My first winter in Santa Fe brought this magical, dry, light snow to my long balcony, settling deep on patio furniture. When the sun caught it, and the breeze blew it, it was exactly like glitter dust! So memorable and magical. Thanks for helping me to remember this, jeane!
