Today is what we’ve come to call “Black Friday,” the day after Thanksgiving, the biggest shopping day of the year. It is the accepted kick off to the holidays. We’re supposed to be shopping, shopping, shopping. We are taught, in our culture, that the holidays are about buying; getting and giving. But I wish this for all of us: Remembering our loved ones and the times we’ve spent together. THINGS don’t make up a life, as I know you all know. Love makes a life. I wish it for all of us–love and peace and NO shopping. And the making of new memories.
Love to you all,
Jeane
