Most of you are aware of how hard Anna, Bill, Craig and I worked to put our Anna Karin Gallery together (see previous posts Anna Karin Gallery, Truchas, NM: Before and After, Anna Karin Gallery, Truchas, NM: New Planters!, How to Spice Up Your Windows! and Gallery Blues) and it seems the projects never end. As we live and work in our gallery we are continually seeing what could make it nicer—some tasks easier than others of course. This most recent idea Anna and Bill did all on their own and it’s such a nice change.
We had a window in one of the rooms that sent in bad light and, quite frankly, just didn’t look good. We’d dealt with it so far by covering it with a curtain—a so-so solution. Then Anna had the idea of closing it off with a wood panel and shelves, making it a usable display space. Brilliant!
Bill measured and cut everything and Anna painted it all and voila! SHELVES! It’s a small thing but we couldn’t be happier. Bit by bit we are making our gallery perfect. Come up and see for yourselves sometime.
Love to you all,
Jeane
