Gallery Blues

Just as the blue morning glories at our Anna Karin Gallery are starting to come out in all their, well, glory, Bill Loyd showed up with a new blue bell for our exterior Torii Arch. THANK YOU BILL! We’ve wanted a blue bell for awhile but Bill had to MAKE us one.

That’s asking a lot because he’s incredibly busy just trying to keep up with his other bell orders. And the High Road Art Tour is just around the corner—the last two weekends in September in fact. Bill needs plenty of new bells to be ready for that. So we are extra grateful that he took the time to make this special bell for us.

Beautiful, isn’t it? Little by little the exterior of our gallery is falling into place. We hope you’ll come by for a personal visit sometime soon. Come see us during the Tour! The dates are September 22/23 and September 29/30, 10AM to 5PM. Hope to see you then!

Love to you all,
Jeane

Indeed, great things are happening. I feel something particularly wonderful blooming under the surface right now. Will be fun to see what, exactly, it is–when it chooses to be revealed.

About Me

About High Road Artist IMG 9461 150x150I am Jeane George Weigel, a working artist living in the mountains of northern New Mexico, and I do not think you and I are so different.

Every single one of us longs to know what we ache for, to “follow our bliss” as Joseph Campbell famously put it. You may find yours as an artist, a writer, or a teacher. But I am convinced we all yearn to live what is in our hearts. Some of us spend a lifetime discovering what that is. Some never find it.

This blog is about a journey of self-discovery, yours and mine. I write about the experience of living an artist’s life and share musings and photos as this living experiment unfolds. It is my hope you’ll join in the conversation by writing to me about your lives and I dearly hope something, here, will inspire you.
