Terry Mulert is an artist living in Cordova, one village down the mountain from Truchas. And he is a friend of mine. He recently wrote a response to a post of mine that I felt deserved a considered answer.

Wolf Schneider came to Truchas to do a story on the art scene here for the Santa Fe New Mexican’s summer magazine, Bienvenidos which was just published!

You know I couldn’t wait to show you our planters once we put in the flowers! We’ve held back the blue morning glories and the black eyed susans until we can be sure of no frost. But most of the rest are planted.
