Getting Finn’s custom-made coat is taking a little more effort than he’d bargained for. Anita mailed the first prototype of the dog coat pattern to our little man and it just doesn’t work for him at all. So they are already back at the drawing table with the pattern, making the back one piece with front leg holes. And they’re changing the velcro closures.
I was sitting at the Anna Karin Gallery the other day when I started hearing some rustling and chirping. There, under the propane heater, with his little head tucked tightly into the corner, was a tiny baby chipmunk.

OK, my Finn had his SECOND fitting today for his custom coat that’s being made for him. Some people here in Truchas think that’s a bit excessive—that Finn might be going a little, well, Hollywood. But what’s a guy to do?
