You know what it’s like when you move into a new place. It’s not quite yours until you really begin to live in it. With a home, for me, that happens once I hang the art and cook in it. With the gallery, Anna and I both made it ours by creating in it. Yes, the gallery/studio is now initiated. Here in our little gallery in Truchas, New Mexico — we are home.
Joe from Windstream came and hooked up our internet connection. YES! Now I can work on the blog from the gallery, too. That feels like a real luxury.
And Bill came by to hang more bells—you know, the kind of fussing you do once you’re getting to know a place. We’ll be doing even more nesting soon. You can count on it. It occurs to me that you all may not be aware of this but Bill is sort of famous for his bells. You’ll see them in galleries all over New Mexico. But he makes them right here in Truchas.
So now all there is to do is to simply live (what, no gallery work?) and create, and welcome you all to Truchas, our own beautiful little piece of New Mexico.
AND offer you a few more blogs to check out:
Love to you all,
