The thing that had me bursting at the seams this month was the absolute, pure, unadulterated joy of spring and everything that comes with it. There were more cacti in bloom on the land grant the other day than I think I’ve ever seen since moving here – and daisies, wild roses, wild sweet peas, wild blue bells. Oh my, what delightful beauty! A little rain in this high desert goes a long way I can tell you.
At the gallery we were feeling the full expression of spring, too, what with getting all three planters planted (the nasturtiums are coming up!), the window trim done, our postcards printed for the upcoming season – and no need for a fire in the studio. Ah, spring, blissful spring.
And along with the warm weather comes you all. We are getting so many visitors to the gallery who are readers of the blog. What fun! It’s such a pleasure to be putting faces to the names. So, please, any of you considering a trip to the High Road, be sure to come pay us a visit. We will love spending some time with you.
Here are the five most popular posts from the month of May. Enjoy dipping into them again or for the first time and don’t forget to share these with your friends. We want our lovely blog community to grow and grow.
